18+ only. This CrushOn AI review covers ordinary conversations with fictional adult characters. Before buying, understand that unlimited chat on free models and the 100 Pro credits per month are separate allowances. The current chat offer also lists 20 Inspiration Replies per day. These are different resources, so calling them all a daily message limit would misdescribe the offer.

The published Standard plan costs US$5.99 a month and includes 2,000 Pro credits. Premium costs US$14.99 with 6,000 Pro credits and an advertised long-term memory feature. Both are US-dollar prices attached to named tiers. They don't give you a Canadian price with provincial tax, and they don't prove that a particular model will handle your fictional story more consistently.

CrushOn is most worth evaluating if you want to choose between character formats and model allowances on purpose. The private and public creation options, advertised group chats and voice presets are the features to look at. The account-control limit that matters most is the FAQ rule that only messages newer than 24 hours can be removed. Decide whether that works for the information you plan to share before you build up a long conversation history.

Scores by criterion

Provisional (7/8 criteria). Scores are computed from each app's published terms, pricing, policies and store listings on the dates shown. We have not yet run paid test accounts; when we do, experience criteria will be added and the cap on the total score removed. Affiliate links never change a score. A score marked Full data rests on all eight criteria. Provisional means five to seven criteria could be scored from published facts. Limited data means only three or four criteria could be scored; such totals are capped at 3.5 and should be read as a floor, not a verdict. Apps with fewer than three scorable criteria get no total. Totals are weighted means of the scored criteria only and move when missing facts get documented. Full methodology

Offer and documentation dates

The plan display, FAQ and account-control descriptions were checked on 2026-10-28, and this article was updated on 2026-10-29. Don't mix up the current chat offer's 100 monthly Pro credits with the overall message cap described in the older subscription wiki.

The Secrets comparison was rechecked on 2026-10-29: custom characters there are capped at 100 messages total and are also subject to the daily limit.

Read the tier, currency and model allowance together

The published monthly plans run from Standard at US$5.99 to Imperial at US$199.99. Standard lists 2,000 Pro credits, Premium lists 6,000 and Imperial lists 125,000. These figures are resource allocations within each plan. They don't count ordinary free-model conversations, and they don't guarantee any level of writing quality.

If you're buying from Canada, remember throughout the comparison that these are US-dollar prices. The subscription confirmation should show the amount being authorized, the payment channel and any tax that applies. Don't replace the published price with an estimated Canadian total, and don't assume that a generic payment-provider name means a particular local payment method is available.

Billing has one more product split. The Pro Chat Package requires an active membership and applies to Pro models. Package durations stack, and the FAQ says the package does not cover Ultra models. So buy a package only with a specific model in mind. Having the word Chat in its name doesn't make it a replacement for the membership or an extension of every feature.

Older FAQ accounting says an AI reply uses 2 messages and that 1 coin redeems 1 bonus message. Don't use those conventions to turn today's Pro allocations into a cash cost per reply, because the different documents describe different resources. Before you pay, find out which balance your chosen model draws from and whether a purchase adds credits, time or a membership entitlement.

The spending decision is more specific than picking the biggest tier. If free models work for the ordinary conversations you have in mind, a paid allocation needs its own justification. If a particular Pro feature matters to you, compare that model's allowance with how you actually use the service. Budget any extra package as its own line instead of assuming it's part of the monthly price below.

Character, model and voice choices do different jobs

CrushOn supports custom and community characters, and you can create them as private or public. For an ordinary fictional project, visibility is a publishing decision: is the character just for you, or for others to find? A private setting is not a statement about encryption or about every way the provider can access your data.

The service advertises group conversations with 3 to 4 characters. That can work for a scene with several invented adults, but a bigger cast also means more background to keep consistent. Start with a clear premise and a cast you can manage, and don't assume the maximum advertised size is the best format for your story.

The memory description treats context, conversation history and saved memory as separate things, and capacity depends on the model and tier. Premium advertises long-term memory. These are different mechanisms, not one promise to remember everything. An older 8K/16K wiki comparison doesn't measure the current models. Keep your own outline of the story and look at the relevant controls instead of treating an old context number as a quality score.

The voice description advertises more than 40 presets and between 3 and 30 custom voice slots across the paid offers. A preset or recorded voice response is not a live-call feature on its own. The listed voice languages include English, German, Japanese and Spanish. A language label tells you an option exists. It doesn't tell you how accurate or natural the pronunciation is for the accent you want.

Whether a character shows images in conversation depends on how its creator set it up, so not every character has the same media tools. The FAQ also describes an official Android package and a way to install it on an iOS home screen. Check the product identity carefully when reading a store listing or install guide, and don't assume a native app with a similar name uses the same account and subscription.

Keep the rules tied to the service version

This comparison is for users 18+ and fictional adult characters. CrushOn's main FAQ describes content restrictions and different role categories, while the public chat page calls itself a SFW edition. A description of one edition isn't the full content policy for every interface that uses the brand.

For consumers, the point is that visibility controls, model access and content eligibility are three separate things. Paying for a tier or making a character private doesn't remove the rules. Give your character an invented adult background for ordinary conversation and read the policy for the version you're using. A catalogue label is not permission for every request.

A time limit on removing individual messages

The FAQ only allows deletion of messages newer than 24 hours. That's a real limitation to weigh before you share anything, because deleting single messages is not the same as being able to clean up your whole history later. Leave sensitive identifying details out of the fictional background from the start.

To remove your account, the documented route is Profile, Settings and Delete Account. An active subscription may block deletion, so the billing agreement and the account each need their own attention. Check the current status before assuming that deleting a character or ending a paid feature has also removed the account.

Private and public character modes control visibility. They are not a general promise of end-to-end confidentiality or a fixed retention period. This matters because a private character can still involve information you've given to an online service. Decide which fictional notes belong there, and keep anything you need in your own records.

For a billing problem, a receipt and your account identifier usually matter more than a full conversation. Keep them outside the app so that managing your subscription doesn't depend on keeping a story you'd otherwise delete. The Canadian consumer guide compares account and payment questions across products.

Cancel through the provider that collected the payment

According to the FAQ, you start at Profile, then Manage Subscription, and then cancel through the original billing platform. It names Apple, Google, SubscribeStar and Paymentwall as possible providers. Your route depends on the agreement you actually signed up through, and the list doesn't guarantee that every method is available to every Canadian account.

Check whether you're stopping renewal or ending access right away. The FAQ says that if you stop renewal, you keep access through the current cycle, while some providers also offer immediate termination. The US$5.99 monthly Standard price identifies a plan. It doesn't tell you which cancellation option a provider will show you.

Refunds also depend on the provider, and most periods that have already started are described as nonrefundable. A Chat Package becomes nonrefundable once it's activated. Keep the receipt, the subscription details and the final cancellation confirmation so you can match the action to the payment. Deleting your account and cancelling your subscription are not the same control.

When you look at the options a payment provider offers, decide first whether you want to prevent the next charge or end current access immediately. Under the FAQ, those can lead to different results. Having Pro balance left over doesn't answer that question, and activating a package carries its own refund consequence. Save the exact confirmation wording with the receipt so it's clear later what you did. This helps most when a membership and a Pro Chat Package show up in the same account as separate purchases.

Avoid mixing the old accounting with the current offer

The biggest documentation problem is the gap between the older subscription wiki and the current chat landing page. The older page describes an overall allowance of 100 messages per month and uses older tier names. The current offer separates free models from 100 credits a month for Pro models. Go by the model and plan label that applies to your account, and don't combine the most generous wording from each page.

Be just as careful with numerical memory claims. A context figure from an earlier wiki page says nothing about how today's models perform. A voice-slot count tells you how much you can customize, not how realistic a voice sounds or whether live calls are supported.

The Trustpilot profile we checked showed 1.8 from 22 reviews. That small sample is not a verified list of incidents or an editorial score. A single complaint can point you to a question worth asking about a payment or feature, but it isn't proof of misconduct or a general failure rate. Keep the specific reported issue separate from the official entitlements and from what you need.

Compare the unit of access before the subscription name

Nomi, Secrets and OurDream make useful comparisons because each one measures its allowance differently. Nomi gives 50 free messages a day, a recurring text quota. Secrets has a 20-message daily limit plus a 100-message total cap for custom characters. OurDream charges free accounts a Dreamcoin rate per message. None of these units equals CrushOn's monthly Pro credits.

If the way CrushOn counts model usage is why you're looking elsewhere, the CrushOn alternatives guide may help. The general app comparison lays out free access, paid terms and privacy side by side. Pick based on the limitation you need to solve, and don't assume that a similar monthly price buys the same amount of use.

ProductConcrete access factKeep separate
CrushOn100 Pro credits monthly; free-model chatModel choice and Pro balance
Nomi50 messages daily on free400-character input limit
Secrets20 sent messages per dayCustom characters also have a 100-message total cap

When the model distinction is worth managing

CrushOn may suit an adult who wants to experiment with fictional characters and is willing to keep track of which model and allowance each conversation uses. Standard's 2,000 Pro credits and Premium's 6,000 are concrete numbers to compare once you have a reason to use a paid feature. The private or public creation choice and the group format can also matter for a creative project.

It's a poorer fit if you're buying on the assumption that every plan is one unlimited bundle, or that you can edit away your conversation history whenever you like. The 24-hour limit on message deletion and the provider-specific cancellation process are worth understanding before the account becomes part of your routine.

What we like

  • Consider it when the named models and character controls meet a specific need.
  • Try an ordinary fictional format on free models before choosing a paid allocation.

What could be better

  • Don't buy a higher tier just for a memory claim you haven't tested.
  • Don't treat a private character setting as a blanket confidentiality guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Does CrushOn give 100 free messages every day?

The current chat offer describes 100 Pro credits per month plus unlimited chat on free models. It also lists 20 Inspiration Replies per day. These are different resources. The monthly Pro figure is not a daily message allowance, and the older wiki cap doesn't apply to every current model.

What does the lowest listed paid plan include?

Standard is listed at US$5.99 a month with 2,000 Pro credits. Premium is US$14.99 with 6,000 Pro credits and an advertised memory feature. Check the model and entitlement before choosing a tier. These figures don't give you Canadian prices with tax included.

Does a Pro Chat Package replace membership?

No. The FAQ says it requires an active membership, covers Pro models and has durations that stack. It does not include Ultra models. Track package time separately from your monthly credit allocation, and read the activation and refund conditions before adding one to an existing subscription.

Can I delete old messages whenever I want?

The FAQ only lets you delete individual messages that are newer than 24 hours. Deleting your account is a separate route through Profile, Settings and Delete Account, and an active subscription may block it. Decide what you're willing to share before counting on cleaning it up later.

Are voice presets the same as live calls?

No. The service advertises more than 40 voice presets and custom voice slots on paid plans, but a preset is just a voice option. It doesn't mean you get live calls, and it isn't a measured result for naturalness, response speed or accent handling.

Does Premium guarantee long-term recall?

The US$14.99 Premium offer advertises long-term memory. That's a feature claim, not a guarantee that it will recall things accurately in every conversation. Context, saved memory and history are different concepts, and the model or tier determines which controls apply.

How do I stop a subscription renewing?

Start at Profile and Manage Subscription, then use the controls from the provider that took your payment. Check whether you're stopping renewal or ending access immediately. The FAQ describes different options depending on the provider, so keep the final confirmation instead of assuming the timing is the same everywhere.

Should a review-platform score decide whether I subscribe?

The Trustpilot snapshot we checked was 1.8 from 22 reviews. That's a small sample, not a controlled product test. Use a specific complaint to figure out what to look into, then compare the relevant plan, billing route and account rules with how you plan to use the service.
