18+ only. This page looks at consumer terms for services involving fictional adult characters. Policies and prices checked 2026-10-28.

Secrets AI free limits checked 29 October 2026.

The label does not define the contract

Uncensored AI is a loose marketing label. The questions worth asking are what the written rules allow, which age checks apply, how a balance gets used up and what remains after account deletion. Nomi publishes 50 free messages per day, but its image policy is narrower than its adult-text policy. OurDream charges zero coins for Standard paid text and one coin per message on a free account. Neither service can be summed up as a promise that every feature or request is unrestricted.

This comparison describes published conditions. It does not rank quality or recommend a purchase. All character discussion is limited to fictional adults. Prices keep their documented currencies and billing periods, and a US-dollar offer is not presented as a Canadian tax-inclusive total. The AI chat policy explainer covers the difference between model descriptions and safety rules in more detail.

Candy.ai: the sample, renewal and retention are separate questions

3.3/5
  • Price / month$13.99/mo
  • NSFWyes
  • Age checkself declaration
  • PlatformsWeb

Candy.ai's published free sample is five messages across characters, one created character and one image. No daily renewal is stated. The paid Standard allowance is 100 tokens per month, and Premium Plus lists 330. These figures belong to different stages of access, and folding a paid token allocation into the description of a free account would change the offer considerably.

The service asks users to affirm they are 18 or older and allows additional checks where local requirements apply. That confirms the stated adult-only policy. It does not show a specific Canadian document-check procedure, and paying for a subscription does not count as identity verification. The content policy still prohibits illegal exploitation and harmful impersonation.

Data handling is a separate decision. The privacy policy says conversations can be used for training. Account data is generally kept for up to three years after the last activity, subject to stated conditions, and financial records are kept for ten years. These categories should not be merged into a promise that every record disappears the moment the account closes.

Cancelling renewal and requesting deletion use different controls. To unsubscribe, go to My Profile, Settings and Unsubscribe. Account deletion sits under Settings and Danger Zone. The Candy.ai account and billing review separates these controls from the introductory offer. For a consumer comparison, the main points are a limited free sample, separately metered paid usage and a documented retention policy.

What we like

  • Free sample and monthly paid tokens are stated as numbers
  • Cancellation and account deletion have different documented controls

What could be better

  • The privacy policy describes conversation training
  • Account and financial records have different retention periods

Nomi: text allowances do not define image permissions

4.3/5
  • Price / monthCA$12.99/mo
  • Free tier50 msg/day
  • NSFWyes
  • Age checkself declaration
  • PlatformsWeb, iOS

Nomi offers an indefinite free plan with 50 messages per day and a 400-character input limit. Paid accounts get 800 characters. These numbers measure capacity, but they say nothing about what content the platform permits. Nomi's documented rules treat adult text differently from images, and the image policy limits companion photographs to clothed images. A broad adult-service label would hide that difference.

Under the published rules, all users and characters must be 18 or older. The age description involves entering a date of birth and does not set out a current identity-verification workflow specific to Canada. An age declaration and an independently checked identity are different mechanisms, and having the first does not prove the second.

The provider says plainly that Nomi is not end-to-end encrypted. Its account-deletion documentation describes a confirmation process that uses email and a typed deletion confirmation. The privacy policy says personal information is removed within about 28 days after deletion, with exceptions such as support correspondence and records kept for legal reasons. A conversation vanishing from the interface is no basis for promising that every associated record is gone immediately.

On billing, the official Standard offer is US$15.99 monthly or US$99.99 annually. The Canadian Apple listing separately shows CA$49.99 for a quarterly Standard purchase and CA$129.99 for an annual one. Each figure should be read with its channel and billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. These terms tell a consumer more than a claim of no restrictions does.

What we like

  • 50 daily free messages and input-length limits are published
  • Provider directly addresses end-to-end encryption

What could be better

  • Image policy is narrower than the adult-text policy
  • Deletion has stated timing and exceptions

OurDream: account type and model choice change coin consumption

4.1/5
  • Price / monthUS$19.99/mo
  • NSFWyes
  • Age checkself declaration
  • PlatformsWeb

OurDream's Standard monthly plan costs US$19.99 and includes 1,000 Dreamcoins at purchase and at each monthly renewal. The annual plan is US$119.88 upfront, with 2,000 coins at the start (including a bonus) and 1,000 in each later month. The advertised US$9.99 monthly equivalent applies only to that annual commitment. It is not what the Standard monthly plan bills.

The cost guide lists different rates for ordinary paid text, a free account and certain enhanced models. Standard paid text uses zero coins. A free-account message uses one coin, as does a Genius or Lively Genius response. Knowing the per-message rate for a free account tells you nothing about the size of a complimentary balance or how often it renews. Calling the service unlimited without naming the account and model throws these distinctions away.

Voice calls cost 50 Dreamcoins per minute under the published guide, and other media have their own debit rules. The subscription allowance is one shared spending balance, not a promise of unlimited use for each feature. This page does not use coin-pack cash prices to build a Canadian monthly total.

The service requires users to affirm they are 18 or older and reserves the right to run additional age checks where needed. Its privacy policy describes AI and machine-learning development, along with encryption in transit and at rest. Those statements do not amount to end-to-end encryption. Shared popular characters may also remain after account deletion. The OurDream billing and privacy review covers the wider account context without treating a content-policy label as a security guarantee.

What we like

  • Monthly and annual commitments have explicit US-dollar totals
  • Account and model categories have separate coin rules

What could be better

  • A free-account debit rate is not a free-credit allowance
  • Privacy policy includes AI development and deletion exceptions

SpicyChat: dated pricing and independent age assurance

3.7/5
  • Price / monthUS$5.95/mo
  • Free tierNSFW on free
  • NSFWyes
  • Age checkthird party
  • PlatformsWeb

SpicyChat changed its pricing on 8 September 2026. For new subscriptions, Get A Taste is US$5.95 monthly or US$60 annually, True Supporter is US$19.95 or US$199.95, and I'm All In is US$29.95 or US$299.95. An uninterrupted eligible subscription can keep an older price, but changing plans or letting the subscription lapse loses that rate. Downgrading also ends the old price protection.

Free core chat includes three user personas. The published description does not set a numerical daily message limit. A persona is a saved user identity for talking with characters, not an extra daily message allowance. The current annual comparison lists paid context windows of 4,000, 8,000 and 32,000 tokens. An older feature document still mentions a smaller top-tier window, so check the document date and the plan.

According to the age-assurance guidance, users may be asked for a video selfie, with an identity document as a fallback, when required. The provider says it receives the result, not the identity documents. The published country examples are the UK, France and selected US states, and they do not show which procedure a Canadian account will meet.

Cancelling stops renewal, and paid features stay available until the end of the billing period. After that the account goes back to free access. Account deletion is documented separately under Profile and Advanced and cannot be undone. Card subscriptions recur, while the guidance describes crypto and PaybyBank purchases as one-time. When reading the comparison of SpicyChat alternatives, look at billing channel, context allowance and account controls together instead of judging on a single filtering claim.

What we like

  • Current prices have a stated effective date
  • Age-assurance documentation separates the result from identity documents

What could be better

  • Plan changes can permanently remove an older rate
  • Published country examples do not establish the Canadian verification flow

Secrets AI: messages and Moments renew on different schedules

4.0/5
  • Price / monthUS$19.99/mo
  • Free tier20 msg/day
  • NSFWyes
  • Age checkself declaration
  • PlatformsWeb

Secrets AI pairs a 20-message daily limit with a cap of 100 total messages for custom characters. The daily allowance resets 24 hours after the first message. When comparing terms, note both the unit and the reset, because the same number can describe either a repeating allowance or a one-off sample.

Paid Premium includes 8,000 Moments each month. The published annual offer is US$109.99, shown as a US$9.17 monthly equivalent. Purchased top-ups do not expire, but monthly grants reset. That affects what an unused balance is worth: a recurring allowance and a purchased balance are not interchangeable, even though both are counted in Moments.

Audio calls cost 50 Moments per minute, and each custom character after the first free one costs 500. The platform's character rules ban real-person characters and require characters to be fictional adults. An adult-text policy gives no permission to use someone's identity, and the rules do not support treating every possible request as acceptable.

The stated age gate requires users to be adults or to have reached the local age of majority, and further verification is possible. Account settings include a Delete Account control. When a card subscription is cancelled, access continues through the paid period, then the account returns to free use with chats, memories, characters and media still in place. That helps explain what cancellation does, but it says nothing about retention after an erasure request. Treat billing cancellation, the return to the free tier and account deletion as three separate operations when reading the terms.

What we like

  • Daily messages and custom-character totals have separate rules
  • Purchased top-ups and monthly grants expire differently

What could be better

  • Annual monthly equivalent is not a monthly billing offer
  • Cancelling payment preserves account content

Nastia: cancel membership before deleting the account

4.1/5
  • Price / monthUS$15.99/mo
  • Free tierNSFW on free
  • NSFWyes
  • Age checkthird party
  • PlatformsWeb

Nastia advertises Unlimited at US$15.99 per month, with applicable taxes added under its terms. Its free offer includes one companion and daily token limits, but that description gives no daily number. The nearby unlimited claim should not be read as covering every free feature. The paid offer and the free allowance need their own labels.

The service is for adults only and bans content involving identifiable real people. Where a region requires additional assurance, an independent provider runs the check. Nastia says it receives only the result, the time and the country, not identity documents, photos or date of birth. Possible methods include an on-device age estimate, a card check or an identity document. That list does not say which method a particular Canadian visitor will get, or what triggers it.

Leaving the service follows a set order. Membership cancellation is under the profile menu, Membership, Manage and Danger Zone. The account cannot be deleted while a subscription is active. After the membership is cancelled, account settings offer the deletion confirmation, which asks for a typed phrase and a password. Deletion cannot be undone and removes the companions and conversation history from normal access.

Privacy exceptions still apply. The policy allows enforcement records to be kept for up to seven years, or longer when the law requires, and deals separately with financial records and backups. That is not the same as every copy disappearing when the account is deleted. Installing Nastia as a PWA is also different from buying through an app store: the purchase channel decides where billing is managed, while the published deletion procedure applies to the service account itself.

What we like

  • US-dollar monthly price is clearly identified
  • Deletion and cancellation sequence is documented

What could be better

  • Free daily token quantity is not stated in the marketing offer
  • Limited enforcement records can outlast account deletion
US$15.99/month; applicable taxes additional

Promptchan: check temporary media and legacy subscriptions separately

3.9/5
  • Price / month$14.99/mo
  • NSFWyes
  • Age checkself declaration
  • PlatformsWeb

Promptchan's monthly paid tiers list 100, 400 and 800 Gems. The free page mentions daily Gems but gives no quantity, so it cannot support a promise of a fixed daily number of free images. Voice pricing adds another wrinkle: the page lists one Gem for a voice message and two for a call entry, without a verified time unit for the call.

Storage is not always permanent. Generations that are not saved or published expire after 24 hours. That rule covers media; account deletion works on a separate 30-day recovery window. When deletion is requested, the account is disabled and can be restored during that period. If it is not restored, final removal follows. The subscription has to be cancelled before the deletion request.

Legacy mobile-store subscriptions complicate billing. Support says they do not give current website benefits and must be cancelled through the store where they were bought. A website account and an older app purchase may not share the same entitlements. Subscription refund requests have a published 30-day window, subject to usage conditions, and cryptocurrency purchases are nonrefundable. These terms matter for consumer protection whatever the conversation is about, and they do not support a claim of unrestricted access.

What we like

  • Paid tiers list 100, 400 and 800 monthly Gems
  • Generation expiry and account recovery have different stated periods

What could be better

  • Legacy app billing does not grant current website benefits
  • A call debit is not documented as a per-minute rate

JOI AI: a closed investigation is not a compliance certificate

3.6/5
  • NSFWyes
  • Age checkthird party
  • PlatformsWeb

JOI's terms give the exact bank-statement descriptor, joi.com, and treat subscriptions separately from Neuron spending. Unlocking a romantic message costs four Neurons, viewing a photo can cost up to 120 and viewing a video up to 1,900. The terms present these as access or viewing charges. They should not be relabelled as generation costs or turned into a cash budget without a verified pack price.

Paid bot add-ons also require Premium. If the subscription lapses, add-on access is suspended, even for an add-on described as indefinite. So a one-time purchase can depend on an ongoing subscription. The My Subscriptions control manages the recurring membership, and cancelling it is a different action from deleting a profile.

The legal documents name different companies in different roles. The US terms identify Lanoto Solutions Inc. as operator, and the privacy policy names NOVI LIMITED in Cyprus as controller. The privacy policy says messages help develop AI and improve responses. Whether a billing descriptor is discreet or recognisable says nothing about whether conversation data is used for development.

Ofcom opened an age-assurance investigation on 15 January 2026 and closed it on 31 July 2026 after age assurance was introduced. It made no findings on compliance, because further enforcement was no longer an administrative priority. That is a dated regulatory outcome. It does not approve every feature or rule out future action. The service describes an adult declaration and additional assurance where required, but those statements do not set out a particular Canadian verification workflow.

What we like

  • Terms publish an exact bank-statement descriptor
  • Ofcom provides a dated investigation outcome

What could be better

  • Premium and add-on access are linked
  • Operator and privacy-controller roles need careful reading

Free access, free balances and paid rates are different things

A free figure is most useful when it comes with a unit and a reset. Nomi's 50 messages are daily. Secrets AI's 20 sent messages reset 24 hours after the first message, and custom-character access is also capped at 100 messages in total, which are not all available on a single day. Candy.ai's five-message sample has no stated daily renewal. These are different access models before content rules even come up.

A debit rate does not tell you about a free grant either. OurDream's cost guide charges a free account one Dreamcoin per message. That explains how the balance is spent, not how many coins a new account gets or whether more arrive tomorrow. The same goes for paid voice rates: 50 Dreamcoins per minute says nothing about included free calling time.

Where a service advertises free core chat without a daily number, stick to what it does quantify. SpicyChat publishes three free user personas. Nastia describes one free companion with daily token limits. Promptchan mentions daily free Gems without a number. Filling these gaps with made-up message counts would make the comparison less useful, not more complete.

The line between free and paid also says nothing on its own about acceptable content. Nomi's image restrictions, Secrets AI's fictional-character requirement and Promptchan's outside-image restriction apply however large the balance is. Check the account conditions before assuming an upgrade allows a different kind of use.

Published prices keep their currency and billing period

OurDream shows its US$119.88 annual purchase as US$9.99 per month equivalent, while the actual monthly subscription is US$19.99. Secrets AI's US$109.99 annual offer likewise shows a US$9.17 monthly equivalent. The annual amount is what to compare against an annual budget. A figure that looks monthly does not mean monthly billing.

In Canada, the final GST/HST charge and checkout currency depend on the actual purchase. The amounts below do not claim to include provincial tax. Nomi's Canadian Apple items are labelled by the term printed on them, and web and app-store purchases should not be treated as interchangeable entitlements.

Fictional adults and platform rules that still apply

This page covers fictional characters aged 18 or older. Nomi applies its adult threshold to both users and characters. Secrets AI bans real-person characters. OurDream and Promptchan keep their age and prohibited-content rules for paid accounts too. These are product boundaries, not optional settings that a paid plan switches off.

A broad marketing adjective does not replace those policies. A service may allow some adult discussion while limiting images, declining certain requests or using automated and human moderation. For a consumer, the question is whether the published feature description fits the account and medium in question. Permission for text should not be assumed for another medium unless a rule says so.

A financial allowance is also separate from permission. Candy.ai's 100 monthly Standard tokens and Nomi's 50 free daily messages measure capacity. They do not authorise harmful impersonation, illegal exploitation or other prohibited conduct. This page leaves out tools outside its fictional-only editorial scope and does not explain how to get around moderation. For identity checks, see the age-verification guide, which separates declarations from independent assurance.

Read retention by data category

No single privacy slogan covers every record a service keeps. Candy.ai generally keeps account information for up to three years after last activity and financial records for ten years, subject to its stated conditions. Nastia says limited enforcement records may stay for up to seven years, or longer where the law requires. Nomi gives roughly 28 days for removing personal information after account deletion, with exceptions. Each number should be read with its category, trigger and exceptions.

Closing an account, cancelling a subscription and deleting individual messages also do different things. SpicyChat moves a cancelled subscriber back to free access without deleting the account. Secrets AI keeps chats and memories after paid access ends. Promptchan disables an account marked for deletion but allows recovery for 30 days. None of these is a shared instant-erasure button.

Encryption claims need the same care. Nomi states that it is not end-to-end encrypted. OurDream describes encryption during transfer and storage, and its policy also describes AI development.

Verification records are another category. Nastia and SpicyChat say they receive an assurance result, not identity documents. An outside provider can run an age check without the companion platform ever receiving the document, but the specific service and process still matter. Examples published for another country do not show a Canadian workflow. Keep verification material inside the verification process itself, and leave identifying documents and payment details out of ordinary character conversations.

Judge the documented obligations, not a promise of no limits

The differences that matter are specific: Nomi's 50 daily free messages, OurDream's separate coin rules for account and model categories, Promptchan's 24-hour period for temporary media, and Nastia's requirement to cancel membership before deleting the account. SpicyChat's dated pricing rules and JOI's closed investigation add context that a broad label leaves out.

Keep the comparison tied to fictional adults, stated billing periods and account controls you can identify. A bigger allowance does not mean better privacy, and a subscription does not lift platform rules. Canadian checkout currency, GST/HST and the actual age-assurance flow each need their own evidence. The terms described here are a basis for judging obligations and limits, with no score and no promise about conversational quality, which was not tested.

Frequently asked questions

Does an uncensored label mean there are no content rules?

No. Nomi applies an 18+ rule to users and characters and treats text permission separately from image restrictions. Secrets AI limits character creation to fictional adults, and Promptchan keeps its age and prohibited-content rules. These documented conditions apply whatever the marketing label says and however much you pay.

Is an 18+ declaration the same as an identity check?

A declaration records the age a user states. Independent assurance can involve a separate process, such as the selfie and document options SpicyChat describes. Neither an adult label nor a subscription receipt shows which check a Canadian account will face. That depends on the current account flow and the relevant provider documentation.

What does the end of the JOI investigation establish?

Ofcom closed its investigation on 31 July 2026 after age assurance was introduced, without making findings on compliance. The decision records an enforcement outcome and the stated administrative priority. It is not a certification of the whole service, and it does not prove that every country uses the same verification process.

Does paying annually make the monthly figure the amount charged?

OurDream's annual plan costs US$119.88 upfront and shows a US$9.99 monthly equivalent. Its Standard monthly plan is US$19.99. The equivalent makes periods easier to compare, but the annual purchase still commits you to the annual amount. A Canadian receipt may also show currency and tax details that the US-dollar display leaves out.

Does cancelling a subscription delete the conversation?

Not automatically. Secrets AI says chats, memories, characters and media remain after a paid subscription ends. Promptchan treats cancellation and deletion separately and gives a 30-day recovery period after an account-deletion request. Use the documented operation for what you want: stopping future renewal and asking for account removal are different actions.

Can a token balance be translated directly into messages?

Only within the relevant pricing rule. OurDream lists zero coins for Standard paid text, one coin for a free-account message and one coin for responses from specified enhanced models. JOI describes a four-Neuron message unlock. These are different products with different units, and their balances cannot be compared by treating every token as one interchangeable message.

Does encrypted storage mean end-to-end encryption?

Nomi states that it does not use end-to-end encryption. Other services describe protection during transfer or storage without making that claim. A retention rule, such as Nomi's roughly 28-day deletion period, answers yet another question. Keep access protection, use of data for model development and deletion timing separate.

Does an adult-content policy establish Canadian legal compliance?

A service's 18+ threshold and prohibited-content list describe its own conditions. They do not show a completed Canadian compliance assessment or a country-specific verification procedure. This comparison covers the published account and billing terms. It does not certify legal compliance or replace advice on a particular legal situation.
