18+ only. This page covers Kindroid account controls and fictional adult characters. For comparison, Nomi has 50 free messages a day, Candy.ai has a five-message sample, and OurDream Standard includes 1,000 Dreamcoins per month. These counters belong to different services, so they don't mean the features are equivalent. This site does not recommend Kindroid, so the page sticks to identifying an existing account, its billing channel and its privacy controls.

You can use Kindroid on the web and on mobile, but moving to another device does not move a subscription from one payment provider to another. The receipt shows where you made the purchase. That applies to the three-day payment-backed trial and to a paid term alike: you stop renewal through the channel where you originally bought it. Uninstalling the mobile app does not manage that agreement for you.

Recognise the Canadian purchase item

Several items in the Canadian store show a similar amount. A CA$19.99 audio purchase adds 500,000 audio credits. The general subscription entry also shows CA$19.99, but its label gives no billing interval. Read the item name, not just the number. The CA$59.99 subscription is labelled as a three-month purchase, and the CA$199.99 one is annual.

A practical account-management sequence

Start with the account email and the original receipt, and keep sensitive details to yourself. The published web cancellation route is Profile, Billing, Kindroid Standard Subscription and Manage subscription. Purchases made through a mobile store are managed in that store. Ultra and MAX can be separate subscriptions, so check each entry on its own. An account you can see and an active payment agreement are related, but they are separate records.

If you plan to leave the service, decide whether you need an export before you delete anything. You can run a self-service export once every 30 days. Account deletion is under Profile, Preferences, Account privacy and Delete account. According to the FAQ, deleting the last Kindroid involves a 24-hour wait, while other companions can be removed immediately. None of these controls cancels a subscription, and some billing or legal records may be kept.

A moderation lock can disable the in-app deletion control. The privacy policy names a separate route for relevant data-rights requests, so a missing button does not end the privacy process. Keep a copy of your request, and identify the account without sending conversation details it doesn't need. Note the 30-day export interval and the subscription renewal date separately. Neither one is a general deadline for answering a privacy request.

  1. Match the account to the original purchase receipt.
  2. List the active Standard, Ultra and MAX entries and their renewal dates.
  3. Stop each renewal you want to end through the original payment provider.
  4. Save the confirmation of the change and the access expiry it states.
  5. Request an export if you want one, then use the separate privacy controls to delete.

The free-access change to keep in mind

Store entries and account documentation were checked on 2026-10-28. Free Lite ended on 1 October 2026. The current free preview is a one-time allocation: normally 50 messages (15 in some regions), five image credits in total, and 5,000 audio credits. An older app guide that describes an ongoing Lite allowance may be describing a different version of the service.

Image credits arrive in stages until you reach the five-credit total: one at the start, then one every two hours, with no more than two held at a time. Looking at a single screen, that schedule can resemble a daily top-up. What decides whether access continues is the total cap. When the preview runs out, the documentation says the account becomes read-only unless a qualifying trial or subscription applies.

The Kindroid account and cost review covers the separate billing agreements, the 400-credit base voice-call rate and the current deletion policy. Installing the app from a store doesn't settle any of those questions. Kindroid's Privacy Policy, effective 22 October 2026, states that conversations are not end-to-end encrypted, so a conversation that feels private is not the same as a local encrypted notebook.

For a broader comparison, the companion app overview separates one-time previews from recurring limits such as Nomi's 50 messages per day. If you switch services, keep your own account record and any invented character notes apart from confidential information about yourself. Exporting a conversation does not guarantee that another model will behave the same way or remember the same details.

Frequently asked questions

Can the web and mobile versions have different billing controls?

Yes. Kindroid's documentation treats web billing separately from Apple and Google purchases. The original receipt tells you which provider manages the subscription. A three-day trial that asks for payment information is also a payment agreement you should review, not just a free message counter.

Does removing the app cancel a subscription?

No. Cancel through the original billing channel. Kindroid says that even deleting the account does not cancel subscriptions. Check Standard and any Ultra or MAX agreement one by one, and keep each confirmation instead of trusting an empty app screen.

How do I find account deletion?

The documented route is Profile, Preferences, Account privacy and Delete account. If you want a record, consider the export option (available once every 30 days) first. The FAQ's 24-hour wait for the last Kindroid applies to deletion and is not a deadline for cancelling a subscription.

What if an age-assurance screen appears?

Kindroid is an 18+ service. Its documented process may use behavioural estimation and, if an account is flagged, offer Yoti verification. The selfie route uses a threshold of 21, adults under that age can use an identity-document route, and you get five attempts in 24 hours. Complete verification only through the documented account process.

Is the CA$19.99 entry definitely a monthly subscription?

The Canadian subscription label we inspected does not show the period. There is also a CA$19.99 purchase for 500,000 audio credits. Check the item name, renewal term and tax total on the actual purchase confirmation, because the amount alone doesn't tell you which agreement it is.
