18+ only. These instructions cover account billing for a service built around fictional adult characters.
To cancel Candy AI, go to My Profile, then Settings, then Unsubscribe, and follow the confirmation prompts. You keep paid access until the current billing term ends. Save the confirmation and check the renewal status in the account so you have a clear record of what happened.
Deleting the account is a different control: My Profile, Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Account. Asking for a refund is also separate from cancelling. Candy's terms set a general 24-hour window for refund requests, with restrictions tied to token use. Pick the action that fits what you want: stop future renewals, ask for money back on a transaction, or remove the account.
Cancellation, deletion and refunds do different jobs
| Your purpose | Documented control or term | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Stop subscription renewal | My Profile > Settings > Unsubscribe > confirm | Paid access continues through the current period |
| Remove the account | Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account > confirm | Some data may still be kept under retention exceptions |
| Ask about a refund | General terms set a 24-hour request window | Token-use restrictions and the terms of the specific transaction apply |
| Identify the statement entry | EverAI billing descriptor | Match the charge to its receipt and purchase date |
| Understand retained records | Financial retention: 10 years | Deletion does not erase every record on the same schedule |
Complete the subscription cancellation
Open the profile on the account that holds the subscription and go to Settings. Choose Unsubscribe, then work through the confirmation prompts. Follow this exact path, because the Delete Account function sits nearby and does something else. Closing a browser or removing a home-screen shortcut does not stop renewal; you have to take the action in the account.
Once you confirm, read the subscription status and keep a copy. You should still have access through the paid period, so being able to use a character right afterward does not mean the cancellation failed. What matters is whether the recurring term is set to renew and what end date the account shows for your current access.
Check any later statement entry against the receipt and billing period. Candy's charges appear under the descriptor EverAI. Its public monthly offer shows a $9.99 first charge and a $13.99 renewal, and the public display does not state the currency code. If you see a different amount, compare it with the offer you accepted, not only with your first payment. Token purchases made separately can also show up as their own transactions.
If you also plan to delete the account, save your receipts and any of your own fictional notes before using the Danger Zone control. The privacy policy generally allows account data to be kept for up to 3 years after activity and financial records for 10 years, under the rules it sets out. Removing the account and handling transaction records kept for legal reasons are two different outcomes.
If you need account support to explain a charge, gather the details first: the receipt, purchase date, plan term, amount, and any cancellation confirmation. Say whether the question is about a renewal or an extra token purchase. That keeps the request focused on the transaction instead of on the fact that EverAI appears on your statement. The published general window for refund requests is 24 hours, so treat a repayment request as separate from the normal end-of-term cancellation.
For the difference between stopping renewal and removing stored account information, see the review's privacy section.
Instruction date
We checked the cancellation help, billing descriptor and retention terms on 2026-10-28 and edited this page on 2026-10-29. The published cancellation path uses Unsubscribe, and the refund terms list a general 24-hour request window separately. If the wording on screen changes, follow the confirmation your account shows for your subscription and keep the record it produces.
Review the account model before another commitment
The Candy AI review covers the broader purchase structure, including 100 monthly Standard tokens, 330 Plus tokens and the separate privacy rules. It can help you tell the subscription you are ending apart from optional purchases on the same account.
The AI girlfriend app comparison looks at other conversation formats and how each service lets you leave. If you later try another service, read its own cancellation terms, since the route, access period and link between deletion and billing may not match Candy's.
On privacy, keep in mind that conversation data and payment records are handled differently. Candy's 10-year financial retention term can still apply after you stop using the service. Save whatever documentation you need for your own records before you close the account. Dropping the character service from your routine and settling its billing history are related, but they use different controls and need different records.
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose paid access immediately after cancelling?
Candy says access stays on until the current paid period ends. That makes the cancellation confirmation and renewal status a better check than whether the chat screen still opens. Standard normally includes 100 monthly tokens, but cancelling does not promise another token grant after the paid term. Note the end date shown for the subscription.
Does Delete Account do the same thing as Unsubscribe?
No. Candy documents them as separate controls. Unsubscribe is under My Profile and Settings, while deletion is in the separate Danger Zone. Turn off the recurring payment yourself and save that confirmation before you remove an account you no longer want. The policy also lets financial records stay for 10 years, so deleting the account does not make every type of stored information disappear at once.
Does cancelling automatically give me a refund?
No. Cancelling stops future renewals through the subscription process, and asking for money back on an existing charge is a different request. The terms set a general 24-hour request window and token-use restrictions, with separate provisions for initial purchases in the EU or UK. A Canadian customer should go by the conditions that apply to the actual transaction. For a refund request, keep the receipt and a precise description of the problem.
Why is the payment listed as EverAI?
EverAI is the billing descriptor Candy publishes. Compare the entry with the receipt, amount and transaction date. The public monthly display goes from $9.99 at first to $13.99 at renewal, and extra tokens can create separate charges. The descriptor tells you which operator the charge comes from; you need the receipt to see what that specific payment covered.
What information remains after I delete the account?
The privacy policy generally allows account data to be kept for up to 3 years after your last activity, with exceptions and circumstances that can shorten that period. Financial records have a 10-year term, and marketing information generally has its own 2-year limit after your last interaction. Account deletion handles erasure under those rules; it does not promise a single immediate deletion date for every record.
