What changes with each action
A Standard Monthly subscription costs US$19.99 and includes 1,000 coins per renewal. An annual subscription is US$119.88 paid upfront. Stopping the next renewal does not turn an annual payment into a set of refundable monthly purchases. Keep the original term and the cancellation confirmation with your billing records.
The remaining balance is a separate decision. If you only want to avoid another payment, ordinary cancellation lets you keep access through the current term. If you choose deletion, you give up that balance under the deletion policy. How much is left, or how much you originally paid, does not change what the chosen account action does.

Use the control that matches the outcome you want
- To cancel renewal, open your OurDream profile, select Cancel subscription and follow the confirmation prompts. You need to finish the confirmation. Opening a settings screen does not by itself stop renewal.
- Note the date your paid period ends. Access continues until then. If the account gets a regular 1,000-coin allocation, you can still spend the remaining balance before the term ends, but coming back later will not undo its expiry.
- To delete the account permanently, open the profile and scroll to the danger zone at the bottom. Select delete my account and follow the prompts. This is the documented deletion route. Uninstalling an app or changing a character does not do the same thing.
- Expect the stated processing period of 24 to 48 hours. The help article says deletion automatically cancels an active subscription and forfeits remaining coins without a refund. That outcome is part of choosing deletion, not an optional last step.
- Read the privacy exceptions along with the deletion result. OurDream allows retention for legal purposes, and shared popular characters may stay up. The 24 to 48 hour processing statement does not promise that every legally retained record or shared character is erased in that window.
- Handle a disputed charge or a refund request separately from stopping renewal. Cancellation changes future access and billing. It does not settle a refund request under the service terms.
- Keep the account separate from its browser shortcut. OurDream is a web PWA, not a native app, so removing a shortcut does not trigger either documented profile control. The account decision is still between cancelling renewal and permanent deletion, which has a published processing period of 24 to 48 hours.
