OurDream AI pricing has two parts: the subscription payment, and the Dreamcoins that certain features use up. Standard Monthly is US$19.99 and gives 1,000 Dreamcoins at purchase and at each monthly renewal. Standard Annual costs US$119.88 upfront. The US$9.99 monthly equivalent shown for it is that annual payment divided across the year. It is not a separate plan billed monthly.

The annual plan starts with 2,000 coins, which includes a one-time 1,000-coin bonus, and then gives 1,000 in each later month. Don't count the introductory bonus again in every monthly budget. Standard paid text costs zero coins, but voice calls and certain enhanced text models draw from the balance, so how you use the service matters as much as the headline subscription price.

All amounts here are in US dollars, as published. For a Canadian purchase, check the final billing currency, provincial GST/HST and any conversion by the payment provider against the term you pick. A lower monthly equivalent can still mean a bigger payment right away.

Plan commitments and the shared coin balance

A voice-only example shows how the allowance works. At 50 coins per minute, 20 minutes uses 1,000 coins. On Standard Monthly, that fits inside the regular grant if you spend coins on nothing else. The subscription charge in that case is US$19.99 before any checkout charges that apply. It does not buy unlimited calling.

Ten minutes, by contrast, uses 500 coins and leaves 500 of a regular 1,000-coin grant. You can spend that remainder on other charged actions under the published schedule. Both examples assume the stated call rate, a full unused regular grant and no other debits. They show the arithmetic and do not predict how anyone will use the service.

Keep each action's unit separate. An in-chat image is listed at five coins, and a standard batch of two images is ten. Character creation, which includes two images, is also listed at ten. Sharing a price doesn't make these the same operation, and it doesn't mean every image costs ten coins.

Coins and money also behave differently when a term ends. A regular 1,000-coin allocation is a feature allowance, not a cash deposit you can get back. Under the cancellation guidance, you can use remaining coins until the paid period ends, and subscribing again later does not bring back an expired balance. So a spending plan has to account for both the size of the grant and how long you have to use it.

Build a budget from the payment and the usage units

  1. Pick the billing term first. A US$19.99 monthly payment and a US$119.88 annual payment tie up different amounts of cash. Compare what is due for the whole term before relying on the annual plan's monthly equivalent.
  2. Base an ongoing budget on the regular grant. Each monthly renewal gives 1,000 Dreamcoins. The annual plan starts with 2,000, but the extra 1,000 is an introductory bonus, so the first month's balance can make later months look better than they will be.
  3. Keep ordinary paid text apart from charged model responses. Standard paid chat costs zero coins, while Genius and Lively Genius responses are listed at one coin each. Calling the subscription all-inclusive would hide that difference.
  4. Count voice use in minutes. Multiply the planned length by 50 coins instead of treating a call as one fixed-price event. A ten-minute call uses 500 coins, and every extra minute comes out of the same balance other metered features use.
  5. Tie each media cost to its exact action. Five coins for an in-chat image, ten for two standard generated images and five for a paragraph of premium narration are separate units. Don't apply a batch rate to every single output, and don't mix narration paragraphs with call minutes.
  6. Check what happens at the end of the term before paying for extra usage. After an ordinary subscription cancellation, you can use remaining coins until the paid period ends. An expired unused balance does not come back automatically when you subscribe again, and returning to the service later does not guarantee you will recover those coins.
  7. Check the purchase channel and payment details. The official payment help says PayPal is not supported. A general list of payment methods popular in Canada does not show that a given method is offered at checkout. Note the actual currency and final amount when you compare the purchase with a Canadian budget.
  8. Record subscription cancellation and account deletion separately in your budget. Under the deletion policy, processing takes 24 to 48 hours, any active membership is cancelled automatically, and remaining coins are lost without a refund. That is different from cancelling a subscription and keeping access through the paid term. Deletion is not a way to get an annual payment refunded or to turn unused coins back into money.

Price and policy date

We checked the subscription terms and the published action schedule on 2026-10-28. The cost guide is dated 2 March 2026. Model-specific charges may change, so note the action name and unit when you compare them with a later account display.

The OurDream review covers the account controls, the US operator and the privacy policy that come with the US$19.99 monthly plan. It also explains how ordinary cancellation differs from permanent account deletion, which automatically cancels an active subscription and forfeits remaining coins.

For a wider comparison, the AI companion overview separates recurring allowances from one-time samples. You can't compare OurDream's 1,000 monthly coins directly with another service's daily message count unless you keep track of what each unit actually pays for.

Frequently asked questions

Is US$9.99 the amount charged by the monthly plan?

No. US$9.99 is the displayed monthly equivalent of the US$119.88 annual purchase. Standard Monthly is US$19.99. The equivalent is useful for comparing periods, but choosing the annual plan means paying the full annual amount upfront. Look at the payment currency and any Canadian tax that applies against that full commitment, not against a number that looks monthly.

How much calling fits into the regular monthly coin grant?

At the published rate of 50 Dreamcoins per minute, 20 minutes uses the whole 1,000-coin regular grant, assuming no other charged actions. Ten minutes uses 500 coins. If enhanced text, media or other metered features also use coins, less of the grant is left for calls. This calculation does not tell you a cash top-up price.

Does the annual plan give 2,000 coins every month?

No. The first allocation is 2,000, which includes an introductory 1,000-coin bonus. Later months get 1,000. Base an ongoing budget on the regular allocation unless a separate offer on your account clearly says otherwise. Using the first allocation for every month would double the documented ongoing allowance and could make a voice or media budget look more generous than it really is.

Does paying make every text model free to use?

Standard paid text is listed at zero coins. Genius and Lively Genius responses are listed at one coin each. The subscription changes the rate for ordinary text but does not remove every model-specific charge. Keep the model name next to each debit when you check a bill or decide whether a feature fits your remaining balance.

Do unused coins come back after resubscribing?

No. The cancellation guidance in the OurDream review says you can use remaining coins until the current paid period ends, and a later subscription does not restore them automatically. Permanent account deletion works differently: it automatically cancels an active membership and loses remaining coins without a refund. The documented processing period for deletion is 24 to 48 hours, and the privacy policy allows certain records to be retained.
