Kupid sells paid access as weekly quotas. On the public pricing page, Pro was listed at 3.44 euros per week next to a crossed-out 12.99 euros, with 25 photos, 8 videos and 12 voice minutes a week, plus 4 custom characters. Ultra was listed at 5.75 euros per week next to a crossed-out 24.99 euros, with 75 photos, 25 videos, 35 voice minutes a week and 8 custom characters. The page showed euros without confirming a Canadian location, and it was unclear which billing tab was selected or what total would be charged upfront. Use the weekly rate to compare plans. It is not a confirmed charge.
Three points matter more than the character gallery. First, the pricing page says the purchase is a single payment and nothing renews, while the subscription terms describe cancellation, so you have to read the renewal status from the checkout you actually choose. Second, you cancel by emailing support through a link in the terms. There is no button in settings. Third, the privacy policy says personal information is normally kept for 6 years after the account is closed, even though the marketing calls the service anonymous.
Kupid can work for an adult who wants fixed weekly media and voice allowances and is willing to check the final euro total before paying. Anyone who wants a confirmed Canadian price, a self-service cancel option or short data retention will be less well served. Other options are ranked on our best AI girlfriend apps page.

Criterion scores
Provisional (6/8 criteria). Scores are computed from each app's published terms, pricing, policies and store listings on the dates shown. We have not yet run paid test accounts; when we do, experience criteria will be added and the cap on the total score removed. Affiliate links never change a score. A score marked Full data rests on all eight criteria. Provisional means five to seven criteria could be scored from published facts. Limited data means only three or four criteria could be scored; such totals are capped at 4.0 and should be read as a floor, not a verdict. Apps with fewer than three scorable criteria get no total. Totals are weighted means of the scored criteria only and move when missing facts get documented. Full methodology

Price and policy dates
Page updated 2026-11-01. We checked Kupid's pricing page, terms of service, coin rules, 2257 statement and privacy policy on 2026-10-28, and took the Trustpilot snapshot the same day. The privacy policy shows a revision marked [02/05/2023]. That could mean February or May, so treat it as an old revision and look for a newer one before you sign up. The comparison products were checked 2026-10-28 and 2026-10-29. Promotional rates and quotas can change at any time, and the amount and terms on your own checkout screen override anything listed here.
Kupid AI pricing: what the weekly figures do and don't tell you
On 2026-10-28 the public pricing page listed two paid plans with weekly rates: Pro at 3.44 euros per week and Ultra at 5.75 euros per week. Each rate sat beside a higher crossed-out figure, 12.99 euros for Pro and 24.99 euros for Ultra. The page did not say what period the crossed-out figure covered. It also did not show which billing option was active when the discount appeared, or what single amount would be charged for the full term. The weekly rate is useful for comparing plans. It does not tell you what will hit your card each week.
Currency is the next problem for a Canadian buyer. The page rendered in euros, and nothing confirmed whether a Canadian visitor sees the same figures, a different currency or a different offer. We have not converted these amounts into Canadian dollars, because any CA$ figure would be a guess. If your bank processes the charge in euros, its own exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fee apply. Only the payment summary can confirm whether GST/HST is added and at what provincial rate. The public pages did not say whether tax was included.
Kupid also uses coins. Under the terms, coins that come with a subscription, a free trial, a promotion or a gift expire 6 months after they are granted, while coin packs you buy directly do not expire. The earliest-expiring coins are spent first, so plan coins run down before purchased ones. Coins cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and Kupid says allocations and prices can change. There is no public price list for coin packs or cost per action, so you cannot work out a realistic monthly total of subscription plus coins from public figures. Before buying coins, note what each pack costs at checkout and how much of the balance one image or video uses.
The free option is the least clear part. The privacy policy mentions a few test messages before registration but gives no number and no reset period. Other review sites disagree: some describe 15 messages in total and others 15 per week. Neither figure is confirmed, so think of the free access as a short look at the interface rather than a fixed allowance.
Before you pay, take a screenshot of the plan, the billing term, the full amount charged, the currency and the renewal wording. That record helps if the charge on your statement differs from the weekly figure you expected.
| Plan or item | Displayed figure (checked 2026-10-28) | Weekly allowance or rule |
|---|---|---|
| Pro | 3.44 euros per week, shown beside a crossed-out 12.99 euros; billed total not confirmed | 25 photos, 8 videos, 12 voice minutes per week; 4 custom characters |
| Ultra | 5.75 euros per week, shown beside a crossed-out 24.99 euros; billed total not confirmed | 75 photos, 25 videos, 35 voice minutes per week; 8 custom characters |
| Plan, trial, promotional and gift coins | No public price | Expire 6 months after grant; spent first |
| Purchased coin packs | No public pack prices | Do not expire; not transferable or redeemable for cash |
| Free access | No charge | A few test messages before registration; exact count and reset not confirmed |
Features and plan limits

Media quotas. Both paid plans cap photos and videos each week: 25 photos and 8 videos on Pro, 75 photos and 25 videos on Ultra. A weekly reset works better for steady use than for occasional bursts. If you tend to use a lot in one evening, find out whether extra media then costs coins, and how many, before you pick a plan.
Voice. Kupid offers voice messages, with 12 minutes per week on Pro and 35 on Ultra. One feature is called Talk to Her, but the name does not confirm live two-way calls. The published allowance is in minutes of voice, not calls, so if real-time voice conversation is why you are subscribing, confirm it in your account first.
Custom characters. You can create up to 4 of your own characters on Pro and 8 on Ultra. Both female and male companions are available, and the terms describe them as virtual, fictional personas. Give each character an invented name, background and setting, and leave out details of your own life. That keeps the story fictional and limits how much personal information ends up in your chats.
Memory. The plan comparison lists the last 100 messages as the context the AI can draw on. A separate Ultra figure appears on the page but could not be read clearly. This is a stated context limit, and we did not test how well a character remembers things over weeks. In practice, anything said more than 100 messages ago may drop out of the conversation. Keeping a short summary of your storyline and pasting it back in when needed gets around this.
Platforms. Kupid works on the web. We did not confirm an official App Store or Google Play listing, so be careful with any download that claims to be the Kupid AI app and use the official site at kupid.ai.
Reputation. On 2026-10-28 Kupid's Trustpilot profile showed 3.1 out of 5 from 17 reviews. That is a small sample and says nothing specific about conversation quality, so don't let it decide your choice on its own.
Adult content: what the terms allow
The terms of service allow adult content for users who are 18 or older, or the legal age where they live. Adult text and adult images are both offered, within limits. Kupid reserves the right to moderate content automatically and manually, and nothing promises that filters will be removed or that every request will be fulfilled. Kupid is an adult companion service with moderation, not an unrestricted generator.
The terms prohibit illegal content and content exploiting minors. Those rules apply to every plan and every character, including ones you create. Characters should be clearly adult and clearly fictional. When a response is refused or edited, the system is doing what it was designed to do, and that is no reason to try to get around it.
On the paid plans, adult media counts against the same weekly photo and video quotas as everything else. A subscription buys a number of generations, with no promise that each one will match what you asked for. If images matter to you, find out how a refused or failed image is counted before you buy coins on top of your plan quota.
Moderation affects privacy too. Because flagged content can be reviewed by people, your chats are not purely between you and the software. Keep that in mind when deciding what to write.
Is Kupid AI safe for your data?

The current privacy policy and the subscription footer name the operator as Servalot Ltd in Cyprus. The policy describes rights under the GDPR, the European privacy law, which a Canadian user can exercise through the controller contact given in the policy. Some older third-party reviews name a different company or say none was listed. The current official documents name Servalot Ltd, so those older reports look out of date (checked 2026-10-28).
Retention is the main concern. The policy says personal information is normally kept for 6 years after the account is closed, and that the period can vary for business or regulatory reasons. Closing your account will not remove your data quickly. Kupid's marketing calls the service 100% anonymous, yet the policy says account data, conversation data and usage data may be processed and that moderation may apply. Marketing a service as anonymous does not make it anonymous, and nothing published confirms end-to-end encryption.
Kupid publishes no clear statement on whether chats are used to train AI models. Since there is no stated opt-out, assume your messages could be used to improve the service.
Deletion works by request. You withdraw consent or ask for erasure through the controller contact in the privacy policy. Kupid does not publish the exact steps inside the account. Keep a copy of your request and any reply. Given the 6-year retention rule, a request may restrict how your data is used without removing it right away.
To keep less of your information on file, use an email address reserved for subscriptions, leave real names, locations and workplaces out of chats, and don't upload personal photos. Our AI girlfriend apps in Canada page has a general overview of privacy and payments for Canadian users.
Sign-up and age checks

The terms require users to be 18 or older, or the legal age where they live. Kupid does not publish a standard age-verification method, such as an ID check or a facial age estimate, for subscribers in Canada. For a typical subscriber, then, the age rule is a condition in the terms rather than a confirmed verification step.
Kupid's separate 2257 statement says the people who upload content are identified and verified. That covers content uploaders. It does not show that everyone who signs up to chat is checked. It is a record-keeping rule for content production, not an age check on users.
The privacy policy allows a few test messages before registration, though the exact number and reset are not confirmed. Registering creates an account linked to your data, and the 6-year retention period starts when that account is closed, not when you stop using it. Sign-up and login both happen on the web at kupid.ai.
If anyone else uses your device, log out after each session and don't save the password in a shared browser. If Kupid adds an age check later, its own documentation should explain what it collects and how long it keeps it.
Billing, renewal and how to cancel
Whether plans renew is still unclear. The pricing page says the purchase is a single payment and nothing renews. The subscription terms describe cancelling a subscription, which implies something recurring. Since the two pages contradict each other, the checkout screen and the confirmation email for your chosen plan are the only reliable answer. Read the renewal line before you pay and keep a copy.
To cancel, you contact support through the email link in the terms. The pages we checked on 2026-10-28 show no self-service cancel button. If you want to stop a renewal, email well before the next charge date and keep the sent message with its timestamp. Kupid does not say how long access continues after cancelling.
Refunds are limited. The terms describe digital sales as final and non-refundable once the service has been used. If you see a charge you did not expect, contact support first with the date and amount. If that doesn't resolve it, your card issuer has its own dispute process.
Kupid does not publish the name that appears on bank or card statements. The operator is Servalot Ltd in Cyprus, but a statement descriptor can differ from the company name. Because prices are in euros, the charge may also show as a foreign-currency transaction converted at your bank's rate. Write down the expected amount and date so you can match an unfamiliar line on your statement.
We did not confirm which payment methods Kupid accepts for Canadian accounts. Check what the checkout offers before entering card details.
Red flags to check first
Each of these comes directly from Kupid's own pricing page, terms and privacy policy, checked 2026-10-28. None proves misconduct, but each affects cost or privacy.
- The pricing page says nothing renews, but the terms describe cancelling a subscription. Confirm renewal status at checkout.
- Weekly euro rates are shown, but the billed total, the active billing tab and Canadian pricing were not confirmed.
- Personal information is normally kept for 6 years after the account is closed, even though the marketing calls the service anonymous.
- You cancel by emailing support, and digital sales are described as final once used.
- Plan and gift coins expire after 6 months and are spent before purchased coins.
- The free allowance is unclear: reports of 15 messages in total and 15 per week conflict, and neither is confirmed.
Kupid AI alternatives compared
Kupid's weekly media and voice quotas are its main strength. On the other factors we use to rank companion apps, it trails. Candy.ai's free access is small but stated exactly, and you can delete your account from inside it, though its first-month price is lower than its renewal price. Nomi.ai has a free plan of 50 messages per day and Canadian App Store prices in CA$, but its official wiki does not allow nude companion photos. OurDream publishes a detailed coin cost for each action, but it prices in USD and its privacy policy permits training on user content.
Kupid's retention period of 6 years after account closure is the longest of these four. Nomi says deletion removes personal information within about 28 days, with exceptions. Candy generally keeps account data for up to 3 years after last activity. OurDream processes deletion in 24 to 48 hours but may keep shared popular characters. GirlfriendGPT, whose operator is based in Montreal, also keeps data for 6 years after closure, so switching to it would not shorten retention.
The table lists displayed figures in the currency each service published. Full rankings are on the best AI girlfriend apps list.
| Product | Displayed price | Free allowance | Age check | Retention and deletion |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kupid AI | Pro 3.44 euros/week, Ultra 5.75 euros/week; billed total not confirmed (checked 2026-10-28) | A few test messages; count not confirmed | 18+ in terms; subscriber check method not published | Normally 6 years after closure; erasure by request |
| Candy.ai | $9.99 first month, renews at $13.99; currency code unspecified (checked 2026-10-29) | 5 messages total, 1 character, 1 image | Self-declaration 18+ | Account data generally up to 3 years after last activity; Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Account |
| Nomi.ai | Canada App Store: Standard Yearly CA$129.99; Launch Monthly CA$12.99, eligibility unconfirmed (checked 2026-10-29) | 50 messages per day | Date of birth entry | Personal information removed within about 28 days, with exceptions |
| OurDream | US$19.99 per month or US$119.88 per year (checked 2026-10-29) | No fixed grant; free accounts pay 1 coin per message | Self-declaration 18+ | Deletion processed in 24 to 48 hours; shared popular characters may remain |
Who Kupid suits and who should look elsewhere
Kupid suits adults who like a set weekly allowance and will check the real cost before paying. Anyone who needs a confirmed Canadian price, easy cancellation or a short retention period should look elsewhere.
- Suits: adults who want weekly quotas, with 25 to 75 photos and 12 to 35 voice minutes depending on plan.
- Suits: users who build their own fictional characters and can live with 4 (Pro) or 8 (Ultra) custom slots.
- Suits: buyers who hold on to purchased coins, since directly bought packs do not expire.
- Not for: anyone who needs a confirmed CA$ price or a settled billing total before checkout.
- Not for: users who want to cancel with a settings button rather than by email.
- Not for: anyone who wants their data removed soon after closing an account.
- Not for: users who need confirmed live voice calls rather than voice messages.
Frequently asked questions
Is Kupid AI safe to use?
Kupid is run by Servalot Ltd in Cyprus, and its privacy policy describes GDPR rights. However, it normally keeps personal information for 6 years after account closure and does not confirm end-to-end encryption. Chats may also be moderated. Use a separate email address and keep personal details out of conversations (checked 2026-10-28).
How much does Kupid AI cost in Canada?
On 2026-10-28 the pricing page listed Pro at 3.44 euros per week and Ultra at 5.75 euros per week. These were euro figures, not confirmed Canadian prices, and the full billed amount was not shown. GST/HST and any currency conversion depend on your checkout and your bank.
Is Kupid AI free?
The privacy policy allows a few test messages before you register but gives no number or reset period. Other review sites report either 15 messages in total or 15 per week, and neither figure is confirmed. Photos, videos and voice minutes come with the paid plans.
Does Kupid AI renew automatically?
The public pages disagree. The pricing page says it is a single payment and nothing renews, while the subscription terms describe cancellation. Read the renewal line on your checkout and confirmation email, and keep a copy.
How do I cancel a Kupid AI subscription?
The terms tell you to contact support through the email link they provide. We found no self-service cancel button. Send your request before the next charge date and keep the sent email. Digital sales are described as final once used.
Does Kupid AI allow NSFW chat?
Yes, within limits. The terms allow adult content for users who are 18 or older, or the local legal age, with automated and manual moderation. Illegal content and content exploiting minors are prohibited, and no plan removes the filters.
Is there a Kupid AI app?
Kupid runs on the web at kupid.ai. We did not confirm an official App Store or Google Play listing, so be cautious with any download presented as the official app.
What happens to unused Kupid coins?
Coins from a subscription, trial, promotion or gift expire 6 months after they are granted. Coin packs bought directly do not expire. The earliest-expiring coins are used first, and coins cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
Is there a Kupid AI promo code?
The pricing page showed lower weekly rates next to crossed-out figures. We did not confirm a separate promo code. Judge any discount by the full amount and renewal terms shown at checkout, not by the crossed-out price.
What are good Kupid AI alternatives?
Nomi.ai offers 50 free messages per day and Canadian App Store prices. Candy.ai states its free access exactly: 5 messages, 1 character and 1 image. OurDream publishes a detailed coin cost for each action. Each has different limits, which we compare on our best AI girlfriend apps page.
